A Music Learning Brand Inspired by Music Culture
Ubisoft asked Nomadic to rebrand Rocksmith, one of the world’s most effective interactive guitar learning programs. After years of success on PC and game consoles, the brand was shifting to a subscription service to broaden its customer base. Rocksmith knew how to appeal to guys who want to rock but needed help attracting other types of players—a diverse community of aspiring guitarists who longed to be part of music culture. So, inspired by eclectic music references, we developed a modular design system that can be adapted to reflect any learner, across any genre, by grounding everything in a signature visual mark that remains recognizable across endless iterations.
